If you worship at the church of German techno then clear your calendar for four days at the end of October as BerMuDa — BERlin MUsic DAys — sees some of the country's best DJs take to the turntables in dozens of clubs and venues across the German capital.
Berlin is universally regarded as the home of techno and BerMuDa takes that title seriously. So on top of an after-dark smorgasboard of top-class electronic musicians and DJs doing their thing in 40 top clubs across Berlin, BerMuDa also plays host to four days of training courses on topics ranging from label development to club life to the booking business, tech-news and of course, the music itself.
BerMuDa culminates on the Saturday with FLY BerMuDa. Spanning four stages (two FLY Stages, the Beatport Stage and the Klub International Stage), some of the biggest names in techno take to the decks as thousands dance up a storm in Tempelhof, a former Berlin airport that ceased operations back in 2008.
The Klub International Stage turns its focus worldwide as some of the biggest and best international clubs send their residents as techno goodwill ambassadors in a BerMuDa send-off to be long remembered.
So book your Berlin accommodation early, pack your clubbing kit and get yourself to Europe's capital of techno come late October for four days of partying and unforgettable music.
